Amanda Zimmerman
Amanda Zimmerman, PA-C, is a physician associate with more than two decades of experience in pain medicine, specializing in the evaluation and management of acute and chronic pain conditions. She is committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care while advancing the role of advanced practice providers (APPs) through clinical excellence, education, research, and leadership.
Amanda is a founding member and current President of the Pain Medicine Academy of Advanced Practice Providers (PMAAPP) and a founding board member of the Pain Society of the Carolinas, where she works to expand educational opportunities and promote excellence in pain medicine.
In addition to her clinical practice, Amanda has served as a sub-investigator on multiple pain medicine clinical trials and has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and educational articles.
A frequent national speaker, she is passionate about mentoring healthcare professionals, advancing pain medicine education, and fostering multidisciplinary collaboration to improve outcomes for patients living with chronic pain.
